At Petra the world-class architect went beyond designing an impressive wine cellar but also included the outlay of the vineyards in his aim to form a contemporary agricultural landscape. The Moretti's are also the owners of renowned Fanciacorta wineries Bellavista and Contadi Castaldi. The estate and winery are located in Suvereto within Maremma, Tuscany.

Petra Potenti

Cabernet Sauvignon

100% Cabernet Sau

vignon from Tuscany.

93pts from both Wine Enthusiast and James Suckling

Concentrated ruby color in the glass. An aromatic framework that is dense and rich in shades of blackberry and blueberry jam, black cherries in syrup and then a thick cover of spices and roasting reminiscent of coffee, with bursts of herbs and balsam. The palate is strong, voluminous, vigorous, with copious, rounded tannins. The finish is

in line with the characteristics of the nose: fruity, persistent and spicy.

Petra Quercegobbe Merlot

100% Merlot from Tuscany.

94pts James Suckling and 93pts Wine Enthusiast

The powerful Quercegobbe Toscana from Petra comes into the glass with dense crimson. After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high density and abundance, which is evident in clear church windows at the glass edge. The first nose of Quercegobbe Tuscany presents nuances of plums, plums and forest fruits. The fruity notes of the bouquet are accompanied by notes of cask ageing such as black tea, oriental spices and bitter chocolate.
